This configurator enables customers, designers, and business partners to customize various aspects of the seating, such as the backrest, armrest, color, finishes, and layout. As a result, the 3D configurator has significantly enhanced sales by improving visualization, enabling product personalization, and generating valuable leads.

Customer experience development

The next logical step in creating a tailored customer experience is allowing clients to visualize the product in their own space. Web-based Augmented Reality (webAR) is an increasingly popular technology, seamlessly integrating into the e-commerce sales process for both small and large brands. Initially, the product configurators on the Sketchfab platform couldn't generate AR content for each custom configuration in real-time. However, this changed in early 2022 when the AR-range team developed a proprietary script that enabled the generation of AR models for the 3D configurator used by Paradise Grills.

The AR tool created for Elite HTS allows users to virtually place home theater seating in their homes, enabling them to evaluate the appearance, size, and compatibility with their interior design. Customers can display, rotate, and move the armchair or sofa as they wish—all through their smartphone. Desktop users can also access the AR experience by receiving a QR code, which, when scanned with a smartphone, seamlessly transitions them to the AR view of the furniture. This functionality has led to a measurable increase in lead conversions by enhancing the shopping experience with augmented reality.
