Elite HTS builds premium home theatre seating to order and ships across four continents, with no showroom nearby for most buyers. Their models already ran on Sketchfab, but Sketchfab's own API has no way to generate an AR model from a live configuration, then or now. Ar-range wrote Elite HTS the script that does it: the exact chair, in the exact finish, at full size, from a phone or a QR code.
Sketchfab can render every finish a customer configures.
It still can't turn that configuration into something placeable in a room, on its own.
The base configurator already ran on the Sketchfab API when we started: customers could switch fabric, finish and layout on a 3D model. What it couldn't do was turn that exact configuration into a model ready for augmented reality, and Sketchfab's own API still doesn't do this on its own. We wrote the script that closes that gap, generating an AR-ready model from whatever the customer just built.
A home theatre chair is large, expensive and hard to send back. Standing the exact configured piece in the room it will actually occupy, at true scale, answers the question a product photo cannot: does this fit, and does it look right here.
Most of this happens on a phone, not a desktop, so we reworked the configurator's own interface for touch, on both iOS and Android, rather than leaving a desktop layout to be pinched and scrolled.
Ar-range has demonstrated a high level of efficiency by always delivering a final clean product which offers high functionality and stability, all while providing timely responses and communication at a reasonable price.
