Prices can be edited here rather than in the shop’s own admin, which saves a round trip when you are already working through a catalogue.
Product and variant are separate edits
The product price is the one on the product itself.
A variant price belongs to one combination. Editing it changes that combination only, so a sofa in one fabric can cost more than the same sofa in another without touching the rest.
This writes to the live shop
There is no draft step. When the save succeeds, the shop is charging the new price, so the usual care applies: check the figure before saving, and remember that anyone who can open the project can make this change. There is no separate permission for price editing.
If the shop is unreachable or rejects the write, the change stays in Content Hub only, and the shop keeps its old price until the write succeeds.
Prices between resources
There is a separate mechanism for copying a price between items inside Content Hub: a resource group can be set up so that saving an item pushes its price onto the related items in another group. It is useful for keeping a fabric’s price consistent across the resources that reference it.
Worth being precise about what it does: it updates items in Content Hub, not the shop. No shop price moves as a result. To change what a customer pays, edit the product or variant.

Troubleshooting
The price did not change in the shop
Check the integration first. If Content Hub could not reach the shop, it keeps your value locally and the shop is unchanged.
I changed the item’s price and nothing happened
Item prices and shop prices are independent. Editing an item does not move the product’s price.
