Check coverage before you publish

Coverage tells you which layer and option pairs have no image yet. A gap is a hole in the render.

Updated 27 August 2026

The coverage panel checks one thing: does every layer have an image for every option of its parameter?

Read the panel

  1. Open the model and go to Coverage.
  2. Empty cells are missing images.
  3. Fill them, then publish.
Headboard
36/40 4 combinations still have no image
Missing combinations (4)
CombinationSignature
Chenille 05fabric-chenille-05+
Twill 07fabric-twill-07+
Cord 09fabric-cord-09+
Melange 04fabric-melange-04+
The badge turns green at 40/40. Until then those four fabrics render without a headboard.
Coverage names the combinations that have no image yet, with the signature the renderer will look for.

A gap does not show up as an error. It shows up when a customer picks that exact combination and gets a render with a piece missing, because the compositor skips any layer it has no image for.

What to reuse

Troubleshooting

Coverage dropped after I added an option

Expected. One new option creates one new gap on every layer tied to that parameter.

Coverage is full but a render still has a hole

Check you are looking at the right model: coverage is per model, and a configurator can point at more than one.
